Early years and childcare

We want our children to have the best start in life. To achieve this, we are committed to working with parents, carers and professionals in health, education, and social care.

We understand the critical role that early learning plays in a child’s development and parents’ and carers’ requirements for high quality, flexible, childcare provision where children will be happy and stimulated.  Childcare that enables all children to learn and develop through play and interaction with their peers in a safe and nurturing environment is provided across the Island.

Choosing the right care is an important decision and can be dependent on your child/children's needs and age/ages. There is funding available for children aged 2 to 4 years.
